Mr. Thomas A. Hathaway

MR. THOMAS A. HATHAWAY, age 80, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015, in Summerville.  A native of North Tonawanna, New York, He was born to the lateAlbert S. and Mae Richards Hathaway on April 15, 1935.  He was retired from National Fuel Gas Company; he was also the referee in chief of the AHA Hockey League in Western New York and a Veteran of the U. S. Army.

            Surviving are His wife, Diana Hathaway; daughter, Mary Ann Hathaway; sons, Stephen Hathaway and James Hathaway; grandson, Robert Hathaway.

Mrs. Kathryn Fulton Mann

            MRS. KATHRYN FULTON MANN, age 91, resident of Auburndale, FL., died February 27, 2014 in Auburndale, FL.  She was born in Summerville, Georgia on February 19, 1923, she was a daughter of the late R. C. and Ruby Crane Fulton.  Mrs. Mann was self employed in retail sales; preceded by Her husbands, the late Charles Ott and Noel Mann; siblings, Hazel Osterfeld, Hilda Wofford, John Fulton, and Clyde Fulton all died previously.

            Surviving are sister-in-law, Margaret Fulton of Summerville; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

            A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Nancy Pauline Gilreath

MRS. NANCY PAULINE GILREATH, age 73, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, November 6, 2015, in a Rome hospital.  A native Chattooga Countian, She was born to the late Carlton and Pauline Helton Berry on April 7, 1942.  She was a Homemaker.

            Surviving are husband, Steven E. Gilreath; daughters, Kathy McGuire, Tammie Gilreath, Shanna Dodd, and Tonia Roudsaville; sisters, Judy Bridges and Cindy Ledford; grandchildren, Mica McGuire, Jordon & Jason Warrne, Derek Dodd, and Ovilia Stancil; great granddaughter, Eisley Jane Warren; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

            The Family will receive friends Saturday, November 7th, from 4 until 6 P.M. at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home; there will be a private service at a later date.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation National Office

Mrs. Barbara Hankins

MRS. BARBARA HANKINS, age 66, of Summerville, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family, at the residence Sunday, November 1, 2015 .  A native of Chattooga County, Georgia, She was born to the late Leonard Dozier and Verdie Belle Robinson Maples on May 6, 1949.  Mrs. Hankins was Methodist by faith and was retired from Chattooga County Schools as Administrative Secretary.

            Surviving are her husband, of 46 years, Guinn Hankins of Summerville; daughter and spouse, Patti & Charlie Jarrett of Summerville; son and spouse, Adam & Melissa Hankins of Trion; sisters, Judy Hartline of Gaylesville Alabama and Deborah Rogers of Menlo; grandchildren, Jared Hankins Nelson,  Karlie Ruth Jarrett, Bailey Thomas Hankins, Jacob Thomas Jarrett, Noah James Hankins, and Emme Elizabeth Hankins; special grandchildren, Dillan Whorley & Angelena Fiorito; Gary & Arlene Hardeman. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins also survive.

            Memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 3, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Skip Mitchell and Rev. Tom Russell officiating, Private interment at a later date.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
