Mr. Joseph Lee (Joe) Evett

MR. JOSEPH LEE (JOE) EVETT, age 33, of Trion, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 28th, 2016, at his residence.  Born on September 28, 1982, a son of Vickie Stoker Davis and Bobby Evett, who survive.  Mr. Evett attended the Berryton Church of God and was worked in lawn service with his father.  He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, the late Amos Stoker, Sr..

            Surviving are daughters, Isabella Evett and Mallory Evett; former wife, Cathy Sims; mother & step father, Vickie & Wayne Davis; father & step mother, Bobby & Debbie Evett; sister & brother-in-law, Heather & Chris Stewart; paternal grandparents, Robert & Carolyn Evett; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Stoker; several Nieces and Nephews.

            Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30th, at 3:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Brother Bill Cox officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers Shawn Stoker, Kevin Stoker, John Ratledge, Chris Stewart, Chris Phipps, and Josh Ashworth.  The Family will receive friends Saturday from 1 P.M. until the hour of service.

Mr. Chuck Robert Hammonds

MR. CHUCK ROBERT HAMMONDS, age 33, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, from injuries received in an accident near Menlo.  Born in Rome, Georgia on July 19, 1982, a son of Karen Stowe Hurley and Ricky D. Hammonds, who survive.  Chuck was in retail sales, with his father, at Hammonds Auto Parts in Summerville.  He was preceded in death by grandfathers, the late Fletcher Hammonds and the late Donald Heath.

            Surviving are Wife, Brandi Tripp Hammonds; daughters, Autumn Zoe Hammonds and Kendall Reese Hammonds; mother & step father, Karen and Ronald Hurley; father & step mother, Ricky and Pam Hammonds; paternal grandmother, Jeannett Hammonds; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Heath; brother & wife, Chris and Avery Hammonds; sisters & husband, Megan Hunter, Clancey and Calen Cooper, Kelsi Pendergrass, and Aaron Hurley; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins also survive.

            Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 27th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Bryant officiating, interment in Garrett Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers Britt Carpenter, Michael Farmer, Jason Morris, Jeremy Ash, Mark Hogg, Mark Ballard, Chuck Harris, Matt Craig, Randy West, Randy Bishop, and Fred Simmons; Honorary Pallbearers Customers Friends of Hammonds Auto Parts.  The Family will receive friends Tuesday, from 5 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Ms. Becky Helton Dean

MS. BECKY HELTON DEAN, age 54, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, April 22, 2016, at her residence following a brief illness.  A Chattooga Countian, She was born August 17, 1961, to the late Wm Lewis (Buck) Helton and the late Virginia Moore Helton Burke.  Ms. Dean was Baptist by Faith worked for Honeywell Company in consumer service.

            Surviving are daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Dean of Summerville; sisters, Donna Tyson and Mary Ann Helton both of Summerville; brothers, Terry Helton, Sr. of LaFayette, Michael Helton of Lyerly, and Eric Shon Burke of Coweta Co.; step daughter, She’rie Taylor of Trion; Step Parents, Edna Shiver Helton and Ed M. Burke both of Summerville; special friend, Lori McGraw; several Nieces and Nephews.

            Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25th) at 4:00 P.M. from the Berryton Baptist Church with Rev. John McGraw and Rev. Mickey Skates officiating, interment in Berryton Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers, the following nephews, Kenny White, Jr., Terry Helton, Jr., Mark McGraw, Adam McGraw, Shane Taylor, Scott McGraw.  The Family will receive friends Sunday, from 5 until 8 P.M. at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home.

CAMP

MRS. ROBIN NELL CAMP, age 81, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, in a Rome hospital.  Native to Chattooga County, Georgia, She was born on April 16, 1935 to the late Gordon Newton and Nettie Agnes Johnston Cody.  Mrs. Camp was a home maker; was preceded in death by her husband, the late Joseph Phillip Camp; son, the late Michael Camp; sister, Rebecca White.

            Surviving are brothers-in law, Gordon Camp of Peori, Ill and Walter Camp of Summerville; caregiver, Roger Galloway; longtime friends, Larry and Jane Schloter; several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

            Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25th, at 1:00 P.M. from the J.D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, interment in Summerville Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends Monday from 12 noon until the hour of service, at the Funeral Home.
