MISS BARBARA ANN BAILEY, age 74, of Summerville, formerly of Trion, Georgia passed away Saturday (November 14, 2009) morning in the local nursing home. A native Chattooga Countian She was born to the late Ernest Roy and Leathea Mae Chandler Bailey on February 11, 1935. She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a sister the late Katherine June Elrod on December 23, 2007
Surviving are sister & spouse-Joyce & Bill Montgomery of Summerville; brother & spouse-Rev. Jimmy & Joyce Bailey of Attallah, Alabama; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday (November 16th) at 1:30 P.M. from the Mt. View Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Norton and Rev. Jimmy Bailey officiating, interment in Greenhills Memory Garden. Active Pallbearers Jeff Bailey, Scott Green, Darren Bailey, Bill Montgomery, Kenneth Blansit, Dylan Bailey; Honorary Pallbearers The Ladies Sunday School Class of Mt. View Baptist Church, Staff of Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center, Friends @ McGinnis High Rise Apartments, Michael Montgomery, Danny Andrews, and Ricky Biddle. The Family will receive friends at Mt. View Baptist Church Monday from 12:30 P.M. until the hour of service.
