Rodgers, Mrs. Willie Bell

MRS. WILLIE BELL RODGERS, age 88, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, in the local nursing home. Mrs. Rodgers was born on September 11, 1923, in Ackerman, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Lee Boyce and Clara Reid Bruce. She was a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church, a retired sales clerk for Bohannon’s clothing store, and was preceded in death by her husbands’ the late Odell Minor on March 24, 1967 and the late John Grady Rodgers on February 3, 2012. Surviving are Her sisters-Melba Gammill of Louisville, Miss. and Nella Dean Melton of Atlanta; several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 29th, at 3 P.M. from Graveside in Greenhills Memory Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Weaver officiating. The Family will receive friends from 1 until 2:45 P.M. Friday at the Funeral Home. Earle Rainwater Funeral Home in charge.
