Mr. Thomas Edgar Brewster

MR. THOMAS E. BREWSTER, age 71, of Highway #114, Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015, following a sudden attack, at his residence.  Mr. Brewster was born April 7, 1944 in Valley Head, Alabama to the late William Edgar and Dovie Mae Hulgan Brewster.  Mr. Brewster was a member of South Commerce Church of Christ; a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Viet Nam and was a carpenter by trade.  He was preceded in death by sisters, Patty Sigler, Louise Brewster, Billie Jo Harkins, Ollie Mae Henderson, and Ruby Norris, brothers, James Arthur Brewster, and Thomas Henry Brewster.

            Surviving are, His wife of 49 years, Dorothy Hensley Brewster;  daughter, Karen (Danny) Wilson of South Pittsburg, TN.; sons, Thomas Gregory Brewster of San Antonio, TX, Jonathan Mark (Rebecca) Brewster of LaFayette; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Ann Brewster; grandchildren, Joshua Galen Wilson, Kelsea Nicole Wilson, Kalee Anna Brewster, Kara Alizbeth Brewster, Karlie Alexa Brewster, Jackson Mark Brewster, Kloie Ana Brewster,  Graycen Lea Brewster; sisters, Gladys Hartline, Bernice Wells, Bobbie Boling; brothers, Ronnie Brewster and Johnny Brewster; many Nieces and Nephews.


            Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 9th, at 10 A.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Minister Tom Harrison officiating and Bob Hawkins congregational song leader, interment in Greenhills Memory Garden, with Military Honors by Shanklin-Attaway American Legion Post #5 of Rome.  Active Pallbearers, Josh Wilson, Jackson Brewster, Justin Boling, Quinton Watson, David Peek, and Chris Boling; Honorary Pallbearers, Charles Rogers, Virgil Hartline, Jimmy Hartline, Phillips Wells, and Michael Lee Stancil.  The Family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 until 9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
