MRS. HAZEL RUTH
MILLICAN, age
73, of Menlo, Georgia, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, in a Rome
hospital. A native of Chattooga County,
Georgia, She was born to the late Charles M. (Prucell) Wesson, Sr. and
Jacqueline Kellett Wesson Stephens on November 19, 1943. Mrs. Millican was a devout Christian, and
loved to meet with her Christian friends.
She was retired office manager for Dr. Jeff Appelbaum; was preceded in
death by Parents, Her husband, the late Charles Loyd Millican, nephews, the
late Shawn Wesson, Robin Meadows, and Randy Meadows, and aunt, the late Chris
Dersa.
Surviving are daughter, Diane
Millican (Mike) Woodall; grandchildren, Jamye Dawson, Josh Dawson, and Jason
Dawson; Six Great Grandchildren; sisters, Lynda Meadows and Rosemary Johnson;
brother, Charles Martin Wesson, Jr.; aunt, Frances Ledford; uncle, Paul
Kellett; nieces, Renee Ware, Rhonda Lively, and Kim Kellett; nephews, Coleman
Ledford, Davin Meadows, Ricky Johnson, Kyle Wesson, and Landon Wesson; twelve
Great Nieces and Great Nephews, and numerous Friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday,
November 23rd, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of
Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, with Rev. Billy Wright and Rev. Larry Scoggins
officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers Tony Smith, Wesley Brown, Jonathan Stout, John Ware,
Zach Lively, and Micah Lively; Honorary Pallbearers the Chattooga County
Emergency Response Team (CERT), Trion Chapter of Eastern Star, the Ladies
Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post #6688, and the Lookout Mountain Beagle Club. The Family will receive friends Tuesday
evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
