MR. THOMAS
“TOMMY” CRAIG, age
66, of Mt. View Community,
Trion, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017, evening in a Rome
hospital. A native of Trion, Georgia, He
was born on June 27, 1951,to the the late Dillard and Daisy Hawkins Craig. Mr. Craig attended the Fellowship Baptist
Church and was retired from the Denim Finishing department of Mount Vernon
Mills. He was preceded in death by a
sister, the late Barbara Jean Craig, sister-in-law, the late Carolyn Craig, and
mother-in-law, the late Julie Townsend.
Surviving are His wife of 48 years,
Mary Ruth Craig; daughter, Tammy Ward; sons, Edward Craig and Stephen Craig;
sister, Susie Mae Edgeworth; brothers, R. D. Craig, Leon Craig, and Johnny
Craig; 16 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews also
survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday
at 3:30 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater
Funeral Home. Active Pallbearers will be Family members,
interment in West Hill Cemetery. The
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday, from 1:30 until the
hour of service.
Earle Rainwater Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements for Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Craig who passed away Wednesday
evening.
