MR. JOHN RUFUS
HAMBY-TIDMORE, Sr., age 76, of Austell, Georgia, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, in
an Austell hospital. Born in Turtletown,
Tennessee on December 7, 1941, He was a son of the late Ernest Golden Tidmore
and Hattie Humphrey Forshee Tidmore Hamby.
Mr. Tidmore was self employed in construction industry. He was preceded in death by a sister, the
late Gladys Roan.
Surviving are His wife, Kathryn Ann Sadler
Tidmore; daughters, Sheryl Huerta, Jean Lytle, and Essie Hope Henry; son, John
Rufus Tidmore, Jr.; brother, Sammy Hamby; fourteen Grandchildren, four Great
Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral service was held Sunday,
August 19th, at 2:00 P.M. from Graveside in Dogwood Memorial
Gardens, with Mr. Glen Thacker and Family members speaking. Active Pallbearers Shawn Rains, Seth Barker,
Christopher Rains, Charles Rains, Ronnie Smith, and Stephen Hamby.
Earle Rainwater Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements for Mr. John Rufus Hamby-Tidmore, Sr. who passed away
Thursday.
