MR. DON WOFFORD, age 81, of Trion, Georgia
passed away Saturday morning, March 2, 2019, in a Rome hospital. Born in Summerville, Georgia on September 12,
1937, He was a son of the late Alexander and Mary Wofford and was also preceded
in death by eleven Sisters and Brothers.
Mr. Wofford was retired manager of the Spinning Room at Mt. Vernon
Mills.
Surviving are His wife, Evelyn
Wofford; daughter, Cathy (Kenny) Streck; son, Michael (Mecedes) Wofford;
grandchildren, Joseph Wofford, Thad (Kimberly) Shives, MaCayla (J.R.) Mobley,
and Brittney Streck; great grandchildren, Joseph Wofford, Delilah Wofford,
Gavin Boulten, Riley Mobley, Ava Grace Shives, and Barrett Stone Shives;
several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday, March 6th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial
Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating, interment
in West Hill Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Michael Wofford, Joseph Wofford, Thad
Shives, Sonny Brookshire, Ray Brown, and Ricky Wafford; Honorary Pallbearers
will be Friends. The Family will receive
friends at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
Earle Rainwater Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
