MR. THOMAS
WALTER “WALLY” LANEY, age 63, of Summerville, Georgia, died suddenly Tuesday, January 14,
2020, in a Rome hospital. He was a
beloved Paw Paw, Dad, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. Mr. Laney was preceded in death by his
parents the late Charlie and Rachel Collum Laney, a sister, Verdice Laney, and
wife Sonya Laney.
He is survived by children, Brittany
Laney, Tyler Laney, and Shawn Laney and their mother, Leigh Laney;
grandchildren, Daniel, Paul, Thomas, Chyanne, Charleigh, Kevin, and Javen;
sisters, Linda Wooten, Delvia Streets, and Darlene Hughes; brother, Rex Laney;
several Nieces and Nephews; He was loved by many and will be missed.
Memorial service Friday, January 17th,
at 3:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral
Home, with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating; Mr. Laney was cremated.
Earle Rainwater Funeral Home in charge
of arrangements.
