DWIGHT STEPHEN (STEVE) MOORE, age 65, of Maplewood Drive, Summerville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020, in a Rome hospital. He was born in Rome, Georgia on October 27, 1954, a son of the late Dave Albert and Thelma Lorene Young Moore. Mr. Moore was a retired Manager for Shaw Industries in Dalton, Georgia. He also worked for J and J Flooring Group. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by a brother, the late David Moore.
Surviving are his children, April (Rob) Curott, Mike (Kattie) Moore, James Anthony Moore, Kayleigh (Matt) Wynn, Derek Bridges (Ashley Swindle); grandchildren, Grayson Curott, Collier Curott, Jameson Moore, Madison Bridges, Cole Bridges, Reese Wynn; amazing aunts, Frances Cordle, Nancy Wilson, and Linda Pledger also survive.
Private Memorial service will be held Sunday, September 6th, at Midway Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Gaddis and Pastor Steve Peppers officiating. In lieu of flowers Family suggests contributions to the Shrine Children’s Hospitals.
