Mr. William Leric Reynolds

MR. WILLIAM LERIC REYNOLDS, age 93, of Highway #100, Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday morning, January 30, 2021, at his residence. A native Chattooga Countian, He was born on June 10, 1927, in Lyerly, to the late Lonnie Lee and Alise Ragland Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict, a member of Lyerly Lodge #338 F & AM, and was retired from the textile and used car industry. He was preceded in death by his son the late Lamar Reynolds, siblings, Claude “Bud” Reynolds, Ruby Lecroy, Maxine Lee, Joe Reynolds, and Raymond Reynolds.

Surviving are His wife of 72 years, Juanita Brown Reynolds; daughter and spouse, Becky McWhorter-Wright (Jim); daughter-in-law, Kathryn Nix Reynolds; grandchildren, Derek Reynolds, Casie Witherspoon, Alyse Wilcox, and Hampton McWhorter; great-granddaughter, Blakely Wilcox; brothers, Bob Reynolds and Cecil Reynolds; several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service Sunday, January 31, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. from Graveside in Johnson Cemetery, with Pastor Joel Smith and Pastor Doyle Kelley officiating; Masonic Rites Rendered at the graveside by Lyerly Lodge #338, F & AM. Active Pallbearers, Frankie Joe Lee, Larry Reynolds, David Reynolds, Jeff Reynolds, Kenny Reynolds, Derek Reynolds, Joseph Jackson, and Kenneth Bates, Honorary Pallbearers members of Lyerly Lodge #338, F & AM.
