Gladney, Mrs. Louise Nelson

MRS. LOUISE NELSON GLADNEY, age 97, of Hwy. #48-Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, January 25, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness.  A native of Berryton, Georgia, She was born to the late Robert Lee and Vashti Bailey Nelson on November 1, 1915.  Mrs. Gladney attended the Berryton Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband, the late Ben F.-“Brownie” Gladney, son, the late Lamar Gladney, daughter, the late Joyce Virginia Haygood, and sisters, the late Roberta McGraw and Opal Wilson.

Surviving are daughter-in-law-Montez Wilson Gladney; granddaughter and spouse, Kaye & Preston Greer; great grandchildren, Will Greer and Kailen Greer all of Summerville; special nieces, who helped care for Mrs. Gladney, Mildred Cordle and Mildred McGraw; nephew, Ollie (John) McGraw; several Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 27^th, at 3:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Preston Greer, Will Greer, Kailen Greer speaking and Rev. Bill Cox conducting interment service.  Pallbearers, Danny McGraw, Chris McGraw, Carter Woodall, Preston Greer, Will Greer, and Rodney Anglin.  Visitation is Sunday from 1:30 til the service hour at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home.  Flowers are excepted or contributions to Georgia A.G.A.P.E., #3094 Mercer University Dr., Suite #200, Atlanta, GA.-30341; please omit food.
