Nicholson, Mr. Robert C.

MR. ROBERT C. NICHOLSON, age 85, of Shady Lane-Trion, Georgia passed away Thursday morning at his residence.  Born in Ducktown, Tennessee on May 7, 1927,a son of the late James Isaac and Bertha Styles Nicholson, Mr. Nicholson was a member of Pennville Church of Christ and was retired from the bleaching department of Riegel Textile Corporation.

            Surviving are His wife, Frances Broome Nicholson; daughters-Frances Lenora Pence of Trion, Pat Pierce of Rock Springs, Elaine Clements of Trion, Jean Meadows of Douglasville, and Carol Waters of LaFayette; son-Ron Nicholson of Sarasota, FL.; several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews also survive.

            Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16^th, at 3:30 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers will be David Saylors, Bob Wesson, Josh Pilcher, David Pence, Nicholas Young, Cody Young, Eddie Britton and Jeff Cooper. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home Saturday from 1:30 PM until the hour of service.
