MRS. TRESSIE
HENDERSON KNIGHT, age 85, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, August 6,
2015, in an Atlanta hospital. A native
of Cherokee County, Alabama, She was born to the late Luther T. and Pauline
Berry Henderson on April 4, 1930. Mrs.
Knight lived in Trion for a number of years and was a self employed
seamstress. She was preceded in death by
her husband, the late Charles William (Bill) Knight, and siblings, the late
Blanche Battles, Everene Croy, Mardine Turner, Wallace Henderson, Berry
Henderson, and Hugh Henderson.
Surviving are daughter, Laura Knight
of Fayetteville; sons, Kenneth Knight of Fayetteville and Scott Knight of Ft.
Collins, Col.; Six Grandchildren, one Great Grandson, several Nieces and
Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held
Saturday, August 8th, at 12:00 noon, from the J. D. Hill Memorial
Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Pastor Casey Bramlett officiating, interment
in West Hill Cemetery; active pallbearers, John Calogero, Hal Tilley, Scott
Knight, Kenneth Knight, Mark Holland, and Johnny Henderson. The Family will receive friends Saturday from
11:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the Funeral Home.
