Mr. Michael L. Treadaway

MR. MICHAEL L. TREADAWAY, age 68, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday at his residence, following an illness.  A Chattooga County native, He was born to the late Robert G. and Mary Lowry Treadaway on May 17, 1947.  Mr. Treadaway was Baptist by Faith and was retired School Teacher from Menlo School after 30 years of service.

            Surviving are daughter, Wendy Benton of Hope Mills, North Carolina; sister, Sandra Gilbreath of Summerville; grandchildren, Cody Benton, Caleb Benton, Christopher Benton, and Caralyn Benton; nephew, Brian Gilbreath.

            Memorial service will be held Monday, February 29^th, @ 2:30 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home.  The Family will receive friends Monday from 1:30 P.M. until the hour of service also at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barbara Ann Newsome

MRS. BARBARA ANN NEWSOME, age 67, of Marble Springs Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 30, 2016, at her residence.  A native of Summerville, Mrs. Newsome was born to the late Andrew (Pete) and Floy Townsend Teems on February 5, 1948.  She was retired from the assemble department of Roper, Corp.

            Surviving are husband, Elva Rush Newsome; step children, Marty Newsome and Junior Newsome; granddaughters, Kaylee and Serenity Newsome; sister, Kathaleen Fish of Flizgerlad, GA; brother, Leroy Teems of Trion; nieces and nephews, Amanda Conger, Eddie Teems, David Fish, Valerie Bostick.

            Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 4^th, at 2:00 P.M. from the Silver Hill Baptist Church, interment in the Silver Hill Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers Marty Newsome, Lee Meadows, Allen Conger, David Fish, Junior Newsome, Logan Congers, and Jessie Markham.  The Family will receive friends Wednesday, from 7 until 9 P.M. at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home.
