Mrs. Thelma J. Faulkner

MRS. THELMA J. FAULKNER, age 82, of Thomas Road, Trion, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017, evening in a Rome hospital, following a sudden illness.  A native Chattooga Countian, she was born to the late Walter Franklin and Elsie Owens Dooley on July 26, 1935.  She was a member of the Subligna Road Church of Christ, retired from the weave shop of Mt. Vernon Mills, and was preceded in death by a son, the late Gary Campbell, a sister, the late Hanie Hix , and brothers, the late Homer Dooley, Hobert Dooley, Guy Dooley, and Clarence Dooley.

            Surviving are daughters & sons-in-law, Abbi Searles, Rita & Earnie Jones, Julie & James Dodd; sons & daughters-in-law, Steve & Dinah Campbell, John & Ginger Faulkner, Phillip & Pat Campbell; sisters, Emma Warren and Foye Watkins; grandchildren, B.J. Petitt, Jake Dodd, Emily Parker, Grace Faulkner, Cari Crider, Mandy Campbell, Kelly Grogan, Apache Campbell, Luke Campbell, Tesa Campbell, Brent Campbell, Amie Cabe, Jeremy Campbell, Paula Buice, Tami Potts, Bryant Ward, Chad Campbell; former husband, Bryant Campbell; numerous Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, also survive.

            Funeral services will be held Monday, October 30th, at 11:00 A.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Ministers Bill Watkins and Tommy O’Kelley official, interment in Summerville Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers, B.J. Petitt, Jake Dodd, Luke Campbell, Apache Campbell, Brent Campbell, and James Dodd; Honorary Pallbearer, Jeremiah Parker.  The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday, October 28th, from 5 until 7 P.M.

Rev. Waydell Howell

REV. WAYDELL HOWELL, age 62, of #128 Williams Street, Trion, Georgia passed away Sunday morning, October 22, 2017, following an extended illness.   Rev. Howell was born in Trion, Georgia on December 3, 1954, a son of the late James Calvin and Buina Pope Howell.  He was retired from the Roper Corporation, graduate of Trion High School, Class of ’72.  An ordained Southern Baptist Minister, He having served the Wayside, Midway, Four Miles Baptist Churches all of Summerville, and Mount Carmel Baptist Church of Fort Payne, Alabama as pastor.  Served as Minister of Music at Welcome Hill Baptist Church of Trion and Ridgeway Baptist Church of LaFayette, and was a faithful member of Perennial Springs Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by a brother, the late Paul Howell.

            Surviving are His wife of 42 years, Debbie Dover Howell; sons and daughter-in-law, Joshua Howell of Trion and Adam and Kimberley Howell of Senoia, GA.; grandchildren, Kamen Lewis, Brody Howell, and Greyson Howell; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Wayne and Janice Howell; sister-in-law, Phyllis Pope; a number  of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins also survive.

            Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24th, at 4:00 P.M. from the Perennial Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Skates and Rev. James Coffman officiating, Interment in West Hill Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers Travis Howell, Andy Howell, Joey Barnette, Brett Jackson, Brandon Henderson, Bo Conner, Kamen Lewis, and Cody Conner;  Honorary Pallbearers, Rev. Tom Russell, Rev, William Harris, Rev. Ricky Biddle, Rev. Mike Odom, Rev. Harold Helton, and Rev. David Pettyjohn.  The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 until 4 P.M. at Perennial Springs Baptist Church.

Rev. Hollis L. Siffles, Sr.

REV. HOLLIS L. SIFFLES, SR., age 64, of Back Berryton Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017, evening in a Rome hospital.  He was born to the late Robert Benjamin and Peggy Lee Owens Siffles on March 24, 1953.  He was a member of Trion Lodge #160 F & AM, was Holiness by Faith and pastor of New Faith Tabernacle, and a carpenter/brick mason.  Rev. Siffles was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dorothy Jean Mann Siffles, granddaughter, the late Savannah Siffles, sisters, the late Margaret Siffles and Lynn Jo Siffles.

            Surviving are sons and spouses’, Hollis Jr. & Patricia Siffles and Roger Sr. & Amanda Siffles; grandchildren, Cody & Stephanie Siffles, Ryan Siffles, Brandon Siffles, Roger Siffles, Jr., Isaiah Siffles, Emily Siffles, and Caitlin Siffles; four Great Grandchildren; sisters, Mary & Jacky Siffles and Shirley McDonald; brothers, Roger & Diane Siffles and Bobby Siffles; other Sisters, Brothers, Nieces and Nephews also survive.

            Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 11th, at 1:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, with Rev. LaBron Long and Rev. Fred Sumner officiating, interment in Summerville Cemetery.  Active pallbearers Tim Hathcock, Vernon Ash, Cody Siffles, Ryan Siffles, Brandon Siffles, Roger Siffles, Jr., and Isaiah Siffles; Honorary Pallbearers, Members of New Faith Tabernacle.  The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
