REV. HOLLIS L.
SIFFLES, SR.,
age 64, of Back Berryton Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, October
8, 2017, evening in a Rome hospital. He
was born to the late Robert Benjamin and Peggy Lee Owens Siffles on March 24,
1953. He was a member of Trion Lodge
#160 F & AM, was Holiness by Faith and pastor of New Faith Tabernacle, and
a carpenter/brick mason. Rev. Siffles
was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dorothy Jean Mann Siffles,
granddaughter, the late Savannah Siffles, sisters, the late Margaret Siffles
and Lynn Jo Siffles.
Surviving are sons and spouses’,
Hollis Jr. & Patricia Siffles and Roger Sr. & Amanda Siffles;
grandchildren, Cody & Stephanie Siffles, Ryan Siffles, Brandon Siffles,
Roger Siffles, Jr., Isaiah Siffles, Emily Siffles, and Caitlin Siffles; four Great
Grandchildren; sisters, Mary & Jacky Siffles and Shirley McDonald;
brothers, Roger & Diane Siffles and Bobby Siffles; other Sisters, Brothers,
Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday, October 11th, at 1:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial
Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, with Rev. LaBron Long and Rev. Fred
Sumner officiating, interment in Summerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers Tim Hathcock, Vernon Ash,
Cody Siffles, Ryan Siffles, Brandon Siffles, Roger Siffles, Jr., and Isaiah
Siffles; Honorary Pallbearers, Members of New Faith Tabernacle. The Family will receive friends Tuesday from
6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
Earle Rainwater Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
