MRS. EDITH ADAMS, age 87, of Highway #114, Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020, in the local nursing home. A native of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, She was born July 30, 1932 to the late William (W. T.) and Ettie Jane Abercrombie Millican. Mrs. Adams was retired from Mohawk Industries, a member of West Summerville Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband the late Odell Adams, and siblings, Willie Jane Millican, Katherine McCauley, J. B. Millican, and Cecil Millican all passed away earlier.Surviving are sister and spouse, Annie Ruth and Robert Love; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Private Graveside service will be held Sunday, May 24, 2020, in West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tracy Espy and Rev. Freddy Waldrop officiating. Active Pallbearers, Curtis Cleveland, Brandon Seymore, Robert Love, Steve Strickland, Kyle Millican, and Chad Millican; Honorary Pallbearers, Hugh Millican, Wayne Lee, members of West Summerville Baptist Church.
