MRS. LINDA RUTH REECE, age 81, of Congress Street, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Friday afternoon, November 18, 2022, in a Rome hospital, following a sudden illness. She was born on March 6, 1941 in Fort Payne, Alabama, to the late Wayne Howard and Verna Viola Fannin Blake. Linda was an exceptional business woman, having started a variety of successful businesses. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Robert Lee “Sonny” Reece on December 2, 2021, sisters, Martha Cooper and Wanda Edwards, and an Infant Brother.
Surviving are daughter, Marty and Jimmy Lowery; son, Robert B. and Susan Reece; grandchildren, Cory (Jessica) Reece and Mackenzie Reece; great grandson, Easton Reece; great granddaughter, Brylee Reece; sister, Janette Chadwick; several Nieces and Nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, November 22nd, at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Gary Howell officiating, from United Christian Fellowship, on Highway #114 in Summerville, inurnment in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Adamsburg, Alabama, following the service. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Church. The Family request no flowers or food, and suggest contributions to United Christian Fellowship.

MRS. FAYE CASH, age 70, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, at her residence following an illness. Faye was born on May 15, 1952 in Trion, Georgia to the late Bob and Faye Nell McDowell. She was a member of the Trion First Baptist Church and was retired from the District Attorney’s Office after many years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Twin sister and brother-in-law, Kaye and Jimmy Don Angles and brother, the late Bobby McDowell.
Surviving are husband, Andy Cash; daughter, Andrea Cash.
Funeral service and interment service will be held Wednesday, November 23rd, at 2:00 p.m.. from Graveside in West Hill Cemetery.

McCLESKEY
MR. CARL MANNING McCLESKEY, age 86, passed away on November 15, 2022, at his Georgia residence. He was a well-known sculptor in wildlife subjects. His Work is enjoyed in private and public collections worldwide.
Traveling the creative path as a Blacksmith, Cartoonist, Painter, and Sculptor, Carl was an inspiration to many. He and his wife Betsy spent many rewarding years creating award-winning sculpture in their secluded studio, or at, as Carl liked to say, “The house that lions built” on Lookout Mountain, in Cloudland, Georgia. Their latest collaboration, “Sequoyah” may be seen at the Mentone Arts Center in Mentone, Alabama.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Ford and Annabelle Harwell-McCleskey, his sister, Dianne Mayhew, and his son, Eric.
He is survived by his wife Betsy Scott, his son, Brian McCleskey, Brian’s wife, Susan Soto, grandchildren, Chelsey McCleskey, Travis McCleskey and Travis’s wife, Hayley, and one great grandchild, Finn McCleskey.
Father, Grandfather, Husband, friend to many, Carl McCleskey will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Life gathering will take place in the Spring of 2023.

LAURA BEATRICE FLETCHER WOODS, age 81, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Summerville, Georgia on January 21, 1941, a daughter of the late Elbert Emmett and Ollie Camelia Roberts Fletcher. Ms. Laura was a member of the Dry Valley Baptist Church, retired from the Weave Shop of Mount Vernon Mills and was preceded in death by a son, the late Barry Joseph Woods on May 3, 2022.
Surviving are Son, Gary and Melanie Woods; Grandchildren, Bryan McWhorter, Haley Woods, Jim Bo Woods, Rose Woods, Lauren Woods, and Matthew Woods; Great Grandchildren, Gage McWhorter and Gunnar McWhorter; Nieces and Nephews also survive.

MRS. JUDY LOU STANSELL JENKINS, age 65, of Long Hollow Road, Trion, Georgia, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, in a Rome hospital following a brief illness. Judy was born in Menlo, Georgia on December 16, 1956 to the late John and Gussie M. Pettyjohn Stansell. She was a personal care assistant, having helped many people in this area and was active in the Tri State Relic Recovery Association.
Surviving are husband, John Jenkins; daughter, Crissy (Wolfgang) Geiger; sister, Debbie (Gene) Smith; brother, Randall (Drema) Spears; step children, Lynn (Steve) Bates and Adam Jenkins; Four Grandchildren, One Great Grandchild; niece and nephew, Missy (Mark) Hogan and Randy (Jill) Spears; several Great Nieces and Great Nephews also survive,
