CRAIG

MRS. MARGARET ANN BROWN CRAIG, age 80, of #212 Roberts Street, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Monday morning, April 22, 2025, at Her residence. A native of Trion, Georgia, She was born to the late Joe W. and Flossie Holloway Brown on December 8, 1944. Mrs. Craig was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and member of United By Faith. In addition to Parents, She was preceded in death by a sister, the late Mildred Barlow, brothers, the late Emmett Brown and David Brown, and great grandchildren the late Nora Dodd, Conor Dodd, and Bentley Wilson.

Surviving are Her loving husband, Leon Craig; daughters, Margie Teague, Missy Wilson, and Teresa Simon; son, Joe “Shorty” Craig; sister, Dean Ponder; brothers, Virgil Brown and Frank Brown; Nine Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25th, at 1:00 P.M. from the United by Faith Church with Pastor Barry Brown and Chaplain Sam Reese officiating, interment in Summerville Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Shorty Craig, Kim Peague, David Wilson, Brandon Brown, D. J. Craig, and Jerry Wilson. Mrs. Craig will be in state at Her residence, #212 Roberts Street, Summerville, Georgia, after 1:00 P.M. Wednesday; She will also be in state at the Church, Friday, from 11 A.M. until the hour of service.

DOVER

INFANT LILLIAN JANEL SUE DOVER, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, in a Rome hospital. She was preceded in death by a Great Grandmother, the late Debbie Colbert.

Surviving are mother, Emilee Colbert, father, Robert Dover; grandparents, Candee Janel Colbert, Jeremy Nixon; great grandparents, Starr Nixon, and Michael Colbert; great aunt, Amy Sue Pursley; several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 12th, at 11:00 A.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Helton officiating.

WESTBROOKS

REV. RODNEY L. WESTBROOKS, age 75, of Cave Spring, Georgia, passed away Saturday morning, April 5, 2025, in a Rome hospital. Born in Summerville, Georgia, on September 2, 1949, He was a son of the late Leory and Angeline Romie Westbrooks. Mr. Westbrooks was Member, Minister, and Song Leader for the Church of the Living God, and self - employed brick mason. In addition to Parents was preceded in death by a sister, the late Christeen Franklin and brothers, the late David and Danny Westbrooks.

Surviving are His wife, Gail Westbrooks; daughter, Brenda Charlene Westbrooks; sons, Jimmy Dale Westbrooks and Timmy Wayne Westbrooks; step sons, Danny, Mike, and David Bray; brother, Jacky Westbrooks; Six Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 8th, at 1 P.M. from the Church of The Living God with Rev. Thomas Matthews, Rev. Bobby Champion, and Rev. Steve Kelly officiating, interment in Bush Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Jackie Rogers, Cody McGraw, Jay Champion, Mark Champion, Rickie Smith, Jamie Johnston, Tim Johnston, and Daniel Jackson; Honorary Pallbearer Jackie Womack. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M., at the Church.
