MR. HENRY L. “Buddy” WOOTEN, age 71, of Willow Street-Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday evening, February 28, 2011, in a Rome hospital. Born in Rainesville, Alabama on March 6, 1939, He was a son of William Rother and Lillie Belle Willoughby Wooten of Summerville. Mr. Wooten attended the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Best Mfg. Company, Finishing Department. He was preceded in death by his wife the late Martha Elaine Reynolds Wooten, a sister the late Carol Helton, and brothers- the late Truman Wooten and the late Billy Fayne Wooten.

Surviving are His Parents; A daughter and son-in-law-Terree & Greg Comer of Albertville, AL.; two sons and daughter-in-law-Tony & Charlene Wooten of Gaylesville, AL.; and Randal Wooten of Summerville; sister and brother-in-law -Diane & Larry Hunter of Summerville; grandchildren-Tommy Shane Miller of Summerville, Shellie Nicole Dixon of Albertville, Al., Allie Jo Wooten, and Matthew Wooten both of Summerville; Darrell & Melissa Mitchell and Tracy & Michelle Mitchell of Gaylesville, AL; Great Grandson Nicholas Connor Dixon of Albertville, AL. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Durden officiating, interment in Moseley Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Jeff Ramsey, Austin Ramsey, Garvin Gorham, Larry Hunter, Greg Comer, Bobby Hughes, and Trey Dixon. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at the Funeral Home.
