MRS. LOIS P. BEAM, age 82, of Menlo, Georgia passed away Monday afternoon at her residence. A native of DeKalb County, Alabama She was born to the late Jack Starling and Maggie Tankersly Thomas on May 10, 1928. Mrs. Beam was a member of Menlo First Baptist Church, was a clerk for the former Massey Grocery, and was preceded in death by her husband the late Roy Eugene Beam on October 30, 1986, son- late Charles Ray Beam, sisters-Faye Huskey & Betty
Grant, brother-Jack Thomas, Jr.
Surviving are Her daughter-Jackie Simpson of Menlo; grandchildren-Charles Harris, Caroline Green, Jason & Mimi Harris, and Sally Harris; great grandchildren-Brittani Treadaway, Jayce Harris, Kamdyn Harris, & Marti Green; sisters-Ruth Rogers & Barbara Watkins; brothers-Jerry Thomas, Randy Thomas, James & Johnnie Thomas; caretaker-Emma Warren; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 6th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Dempsey officiating, interment in Greenhills Memory Garden. Active Pallbearers-Willard Brown, Tim Brown, Dayle Brown, Chamie Willingham, Jackie Pritchett, and Frank Majors; Honorary Pallbearers members of Hugh Jean Baker Sunday School Class of Menlo First Baptist Church. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 until 8 P.M.
