Mrs. Geneva Mae "Dimple" McKin Gladney
MRS. GENEVA MAE “DIMPLE” McKIN GLADNEY, age 86, of James Street Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday afternoon at her residence. She was born in Dalton, Georgia on February 2, 1928, a daughter of the late Homer and Effie Beatrice Grant McKin. Mrs. Gladney was a member of New Generation Christian Church, retired self-employed barber, and was preceded in death by her husband the late William Eugene (Gene) Gladney and son E. P. Gladney.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law-Tammy Gladney & Charles Keen; grandchildren-Carla Gladney & Eric Ware; great grandson-Tyler Powell all of Summerville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 4:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Elder Cecil Watkins and Bishop Danny Harkins officiating, interment in the McKin-Gladney Family Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Charles Black, Ethan Black, Phil Gurley, Anthony Hamby, Steven Hamby and Eugene McGinnis. Honorary pallbearers Dr. Amar Singh and United Hospice. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday from 2 P.M. until the hour of service.
