Ms. Billie Faye Crain
MS. BILLIE FAYE CRAIN, age 83, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, in the local nursing home. A native of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, She was born to the late Horace and Clara Jones Brewer on August 25, 1930. Ms. Crain retired nursing after many years with the former Chattooga County Hospital and Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by a son, the late Bruce Crain, and sisters, Vauda Whaley, Betty Burney, and Robbie Brewer.
Surviving are daughter & son-in-law, Brenda and Edward Hammitt of Summerville; son & daughter-in-law, Douglas and Terri Crain of Gaylesville, AL.; grandchildren-Chera Allison, Holly Ivester, Tracy Wood, Rhonda Blalock, Kevin Crain, and Benay Pearsey; 15 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild; several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 2 P.M. with a Private funeral service to follow, with Pastor Gary Howell officiating; interment in Greenhills Memory Gardens. The Family request no flowers and suggest contributions to the
Ami Cemetery Upkeep Fund.
