MR. JAMES LARRY TUCKER, age 66, of Raines Circle, Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, June 6, 2014, evening in a Rome hospital. Mr. Tucker was born on December 23, 1947 in Blanche, Alabama to the late Jimmy Tucker and Ethel Christine Alred Armstrong. Together, He and wife Gail owned and operated the former Larry’s Bar B Q restaurant, in Pennville. Surviving are His wife-Gail Tucker; children-Brian & Julia Tucker, Blake Tucker, Kim Moses, and Jackie Portwood; brother and spouse-Johnny & Linda Armstrong; grandchildren-Branden Tucker, Breanna Tucker, and Gracie Tucker; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 8th, at 3:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, Pastor Tom Russell will officiate, interment in Summerville Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Chris Devier, Steve Sizemore, Jeff Devier, Jacob Devier, Kenny Hughes, and Sean Langston. The Family will receive friends Sunday, from 2 until the hour of service.
