MR. MARSHALL STEVEN “STEVE” KIRBY, age 66, of Teloga Community, Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday evening in a Rome hospital. Born in Ft. Bragg, N.C. on May 20, 1948, He was a son of the late Raymond D. “Boog” Kirby and Jo Elizabeth Keef Kirby. Mr. Kirby was a Disabled Veteran of the Viet Nam War, and a member of the V. F. W.
Surviving are son-Kelly Kirby of Menlo; grandchildren-Jaylen Kirby, Lane Kirby, and Braden Kirby; sisters & brothers-in-law-Linda & Bill Powell of Ringgold and Patsy & Nolan White of Summerville; three Nieces also survive.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 4th, at 11:00 A.M. from the J.D.Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. John Mann officiating. Honorary Pallbearers-David Smith, Donnie Rutledge, Jerry Caldwell, and Wayne Caldwell. The Family request no Flowers and suggest contributions to the Wounded Warriors Association.
