MR. DAVID DWIGHT YOUNG, age 64, of Tate Road, Trion,
Georgia passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, morning in a Rome hospital. A native Chattooga Countian, He was born on
November 17, 1952, to the late Herman Young and Dorothy Frances Cordle Austin,
who survives. David was a member and
Deacon of the Summerville First Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School
and was a member of the Adult Choir.
Beside His father, was preceded by a sister, the late Doris Edwards.
Surviving
are wife, Mary Johnson Young; Mother, Dorothy Austin; sister, Mary Young and
Nancy Mauaghan of Pennsylvania; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral
services were Wednesday, May 10th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill
Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Mason and Rev.
Billy Dempsey officiating, interment in Greenhills Memory Garden. Active Pallbearers Larry Gilreath, Michael
Young, John McGraw, Rod Hayes, Mike Poole; Honorary Pallbearers John Hayes,
Charlie Williams, Verlon Thompson, and Gaylon Rush.
Earle
Rainwater Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
