MR. WALTER
GEORGE SPRAGGINS, age 67, of Marvin Street, Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, June
12, 2017, at his residence following an illness. A native Chattoogaian, He was born to the
late Ernest and Clara Geneva Rosson Spraggins on December 4, 1949. Mr. Spraggins was retired pulpwood truck
driver and Christian by Faith.
Surviving are daughters, Ann
Blackmon of Trion and Darlene Carter of North Carolina; sons, Glenn Spraggins
and Ernest Spraggins of Summerville; sisters, Vicki Stephens of Calhoun and
Faye Caldwell of Kingston; former wife,
Doris Spraggins; special friend, Becky Patterson; several Grandchildren, Great
Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews also survive.
Memorial service will be held
Friday, June16th, at 1:00 P.M. in Summerville Cemetery.
Earle Rainwater Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
