Malcolm Macdonald Lee, 62, passed away on July 10, 2017. He was born July 29, 1954, in Clinton, SC to Lorenzo Hyrum Lee and the late Anne Macdonald Lee. He graduated from Thornwell High School and attended Presbyterian College. He had been a resident of the Gore community since 1980.
Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his mother, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, the late Mr. and Mrs. John William King, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lucy King Lee and by his three daughters and their families: Dr. and Mrs. JJ Norris (Mary Beth) and children, Jackson, Thomas and Cooper; Mr. and Mrs. Adam Burdick (Ellan) and children, Joseph, Katelyn and William Malcolm; and Mr. and Mrs. David Etheridge (Jessica) and children, Samuel, Mason and Luke. He is also survived by his father, two brothers, Lawrence Lee and Hyrum Lee, and by two sisters, Susan King and Nancy Saunders. His sister-in-law, Betsy King Dellenback and sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Czentnar (Mary), along with a number of nieces and nephews, also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 on Wednesday at Rainwater Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Chattooga County Boys and Girls Club, 11570 Highway 27, Summerville, GA 30747.
