MR. JAMES T.
(TOMMY) HOLT, JR., age 86, of Jenkins Gap Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away
Wednesday afternoon, May 30, 2018, in a Rome hospital. A native of Chattooga County, Georgia, He was
born to the late James T. Holt, Sr. and Della Mae Allen Holt on August 1,
1931. Mr. Holt was a member of Bethel
Presbyterian Church, a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving in Korea, was a
Farmer, and was retired from the Inspecting department of Bigelow-Sanford.
Surviving are His wife, Frances
Maxey Holt; daughters, Regina Anderson, Teresa Pierce, and Kay Swanson; son, David
Holt; sisters, Shirley Maxey and Bobbie Jones; brother, Vernon Holt;
grandchildren, Joi Beth Swanson, Dusty Swanson, Ross Anderson, Payton Anderson,
Kailin Womack, Elijah Holt, and Nicholas Holt; great grandchildren, Briley
Womack and Luke Womack; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held
Saturday, June 2nd, at 11:00 A.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial
Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Bryant and Pastor David
Holt officiating, interment in Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery. Active Pallbearers David Swanson, Dusty
Swanson, Danny Pierce, Elijah Holt, Ross Anderson, and Payton Anderson. The Family will receive friends Saturday from
10 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the Family suggest contributions to the Bethel Presbyterian
Cemetery Fund.
