MR. STANLEY EUGENE MEEKS, Sr., age 77, of Cloudland,
Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, at his residence, following
an illness. Born in Coalmont, Tennessee
on September 19, 1941, He was a son of the late Frank and Louise Short Meeks. Mr. Meeks was retired fabrication manager for
White Truck and after retirement operated a golf shop in Rome, Georgia for
several years; He attended the Unity Church.
Surviving
are His wife, Denna Day Meeks; son, Stanley, Jr. & Kelly Meeks; sister,
Carol & Donnie Bernardinett; brother, Danny & Patricia Meeks; step daughter,
Tiffany & Bruce Agee; grandchildren, Corey & Alysa Meeks, Michael &
Amandy Meeks, Demie Meeks, Mathieu Agee, and Bryson Agee.
A
memorial service will be held Saturday, October 27th, at 2:00 P.M.
from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Pastor
Faye Ann Schmitt officiating.
