MRS. BURMAH NELL GREEN, age 77, of Cloudland, Georgia, passed away Saturday morning, September 3, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Green was born on April 22, 1945 to the late Roscoe and Derotha Tommie McClung. She was a member and Elder of the Cloudland Presbyterian Church and was retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections. Burmah enjoyed walking, sewing, crafting and was active in the Cloudland Yoga and Mentone Knitting Class. In addition to Parents, She was preceded in death by a brother, the late Carlton McClung.
Surviving are Her loving husband of 57 years, Phil Green; daughter, Angie Pritchett (Jackie); granddaughter, Lindsey Hankins (Brian); great grandchildren, Reese Willingham, Kristen Hankins, Colton Hankins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 6th, at 4:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Bobby Cavin and David Tidmore officiating, interment in Cloudland Presbyterian Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Chad O. Green, Butch Young, Greg Hawkins, Rex Abernathy, Dickie Tanner, and David Tidmore; Honorary Pallbearers Cindy Deberry, Glenda Hamilton, Nancy McCalmon, Sarah Pless, Nancy Abernathy, Carol Thomason, Sally Muschamp, Patsy and Kimberly Jackson, and Gay Godbois. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 until 4 P.M. at the Funeral Home. The Family request no flowers and suggest contributions to the Cloudland Presbyterian Church or Cloudland Presbyterian Cemetery.
