MR. EDDIE LEE ROAN, age 56, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, in a Rome hospital. He was born in Summerville, Georgia on May 17, 1966 to the late Grady and Helen Kilgore Roan. Mr. Roan previously worked for Riegel Textile Corporation in the slashing department. In addition to Parents, He was preceded in death by siblings Carolyn Prather, Ronnie Roan, Donnie Ray Roan, Robert Roan, and Zandell Roan.
Surviving are sisters, Louise Jenkins, Geneva Everett, and Eva Mae McGraw; brothers, Loyle Roan and Alton Roan; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 1st, at 1:30 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, with Rev. Ricky Phillips officiating, interment in Summerville Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Jimmy Roan, Keybo Smith, Joe Bryant, Levi Fowler, Ronnie Leps, Pee Wee Bryant, and Jimmy Murdock.
