MRS. KATHLEEN CAVIN, age 82, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Tuesday evening in the local nursing home. A native of Alabama, She was born to the late Houston Henry and Tressie Truss Smith on May 16, 1931. She was a member of Summerville First Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class of the Church. Mrs. Cavin was retired from retail sales and was preceded in death by husband, the late William Alvin Cavin.
Survivors include daughter-Anne (Henry) Moxley of Griffin; son-Phil (Beth) Cavin of Summerville; brother-in-law-Joe Smith; grandchildren-Allison Walters, Elizabeth Walters Wheeler, Paul Cavin, and Rachel Cavin Witt; four Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be Held Saturday, October 12th, at 2:00 P.M. from the Summerville First Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Mahan officiating, interment in Alpine Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Mike Turner, Greg Thomas, Bob Rhinehart, Joe Smith, Andy Cash, and Jackie Cash; Honorary Pallbearers members of the Dorcas Sunday School Class of Summerville First Baptist Church. Visitation will be
Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the church.
