MRS. FRANCES KNOWLES, age 85, of Hartline
Street, Summerville, Georgia passed away early Saturday, May 2, 2015, at her
residence. Born in Walker County,
Georgia, on November 9, 1929, She was a daughter of the late William Arthur and
Lillie Ann Nuckles Bowman. Mrs. Knowles
was a self employed seamstress and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, the
late James Robert Knowles on July 4, 1989.
Surviving
are daughter & spouse, Denise and Randy Haygood; son & spouse, Rev. Don
and Mary Knowles all of Summerville; brother & spouse, Bill and Hilda
Bowman of Watkinsville, Georgia; best friend, Doris Bowman; grandchildren,
Elizabeth and David Amis, Holly Haygood, Jeremy and Tiffany Knowles; great
granddaughter, Sarah Bell; step great grandchildren, Josh and Colin; several
Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral
services were Sunday, May 3rd, at 3:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill
Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Decker
officiating, interment in Greenhills Memory Garden. Pallbearers, Jeremy Knowles, Tim Bowman, Joe
Tucker, Dennis McCary, Kurt Krueger, and Jay Henry.
