Mrs. Annie W. Simpson

ANNIE MAUDE WATKINS WATERS SIMPSON. . . . .

Although our emotions and human flesh morn the loss of Her earthly body and all that she did to help us on our individual journeys, all those little lessons, reprimands, and hugs; today is a day of celebration.  We lift our glasses up in celebration of a beautiful life, gentle spirit, and an honorable matriarch having crossed the river.  Those Golden Bells are certainly ringing for Annie Maude Watkins Waters Simpson, born July 21, 1918.  Perfect submission all is at rest.

Annie lived in Menlo, Georgia and passed peacefully Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Floyd Medical Center, she was born in McGregor, Texas to William and Lillie Long Watkins.  As a retired LPN, She never stopped caring for those in need.  She was preceded in death by her loving son, Ronald Lee Waters, and daughter, Linda Morene Waters; a loss she never really learned to live with, and today with whom she is in rejoicing reunion.  She was matriarch of a grand clan, each of which will have the pleasure to feel her presence in their lives in so many ways.  Her son, Raymond Waters and wife Sue, a daughter, Donna Wright and husband Ralph, sons, David Waters and wife, Marsha, and Aaron Waters and wife, Stacey, have each known her love personally.  Annie sewed many quilts with her kind hands, for beloved grandchildren, and this is a keepsake each shall treasure; Ronald Waters, Jr., Todd Waters, Karen Jesup, Keysha Peed, Raymond Waters, Jr., Kari McClure, Teena Donnell, Hugh Wright, Lori Davis, Melody Crow, Fonda Henderson, Amy Peterson, Suzanne McLain, Hope Money, Missy Braden, Michelle Ritchey, Adam Waters, Mallory Waters and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
