MRS. EDITH M. McCOLLUM,
age 86, of Trion, Georgia passed away Saturday evening at her residence. A native of Fayetteville, Tennessee, She was
born to the late Tom and Zula Hall Morrow on February 16, 1929. Mrs. McCollum was a member of the Trion First
Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was
preceded in death by her husband, the late Clifford “Tip” McCollum, June 25,
2014.
Surviving are daughter & companion, Ann McCollum and
Terry Hawkins of Trion; son & daughter-in-law, John W. and June McCollum of
Kensingston; grandchildren, Emily & Travis Poole and Laura & Steven
Butler, great grandson, Noah Butler, special nephew, Greg Morrow
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 24th,
at 2:00 P.M. from the Trion First Baptist Church with Pastor Casey Bramlett
officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery, active pallbearers David
Dunwoody, Brian Quintrell, Billy Quintrell, Thomas Morrow, Terry Evans, Britt
Evans. The Family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 P.M. until the service
hour at the Church. Flowers are accepted
or contributions to a charity of choice.
