MRS. EDITH
LOUISE MCBURNETT, age 89, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018,
in a Rome hospital. She was born in
Chatsworth, Georgia on August 14, 1928, a daughter of the late James Irving and
Eliza Fisher Hensley. Mrs. McBurnett was
a member of Harrell Street Church of God of Union Assembly and retired Manager
for Krystal Restaurants. She was
preceded in death by husbands, the late George Arthur Morgan and Arthur McBurnett,
children, the late Jimmy Morgan, Archie Morgan, Mary Jo Hamilton, Christine
Morgan, grandchildren, Pamela Hamilton, Travis Rydell Morgan, and Jonathan
Hamilton, daughter-in-law, the late Linda Morgan.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law,
Donna and Charlie Long; son, George and Jennifer Morgan, Donna Faye Morgan; Larry
and Debbie Hamilton; 22 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great Great
Grandchildren, several Nieces, and Nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be held
Thursday at 7:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater
Funeral Home with Rev. Lebron Long and Rev. Denny Smith officiating, Interment
will be Friday at 10:30 A.M. at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons. The Family will receive friends at the
Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M.
