Mrs. Sarah John Durham

MRS. SARAH JOHN DURHAM, age 91, of McCollum Street, Trion, Georgia, passed away Monday evening, February 11, 2019, in the local nursing home.  Mrs. Durham was a lifetime resident of Chattooga County, born on November 1, 1927, to the late Hugh Roy and Ella Anderson Riley.  She was a member of Bethel Memorial Baptist Church of LaFayette, was retired from the Inspecting Department of Georgia Glove, and was preceded in death by her husband, the late Howard Burton Durham on December 22, 2001, sisters, Clara Bohannon, Dorotha Chapplear, Vivian Jackson, Mary Sue Lee, and brother, Tommy Gene Riley.

            Surviving are several Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews.

            Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 17^th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Martin and Rev. Ricky Studdard officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers David Cagle, Robbie Hamby, Steve Keith, Brad Miller, Greg Hurley, Terry Hurley, Harold Brewster, and Vic Morris.  The Family will receive friends Saturday, February 16^th, from 5 until 7 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
