MRS. DOROTHY BEATRICE DOOLEY PLEDGER, age 83, of Grand Eight Lane, Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday morning, August 26, 2021, at her residence. A native of Trion, Georgia, She was born to the late Rev. Wilburn and Helen Moore Dooley on January 18, 1938. Mrs. Pledger was retired secretary for Pledger Automotive, a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church, and in addition to her parents was preceded in death by a daughter the late Reda Gail Pledger.
Surviving are her husband, T. C. Pledger; daughter and spouse, Connie and Othell Stone; sons and spouses, Steve and Jill Pledger and Tommy and Kim Pledger; grandchildren, Amanda Long, Justin Stone, Leslie Boston, Brianna Stone, Zach Pledger, Lann Pledger, Trevor Pledger, and Natalie Burdick; Twenty Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28th, at 3:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Steve Pledger, Tommy Pledger and Rev. Ken Johnson officiating, Interment in Perennial Springs Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Justin Stone, Zach Pledger, Lann Pledger, Trevor Pledger, Andy Long, and Tyler Burdick. The Family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 until 3 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
