MR. ARLIE T TIMMONS, age 82, of Burton Road, Trion, Georgia, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, in a Rome hospital. A native of Ider, Alabama, Mr. Timmons was born to the late Robert L. and Emma Octavia Garmany Timmons on April 9, 1940. He attended the Summerville Pentecostal Worship Center and was retired from maintenance for U.S.D.A., Wildlife.
Surviving are His wife, Nell Timmons; daughter, Sharon Timmons; grandchildren, Ginger Jenkins and Arlie A.J. Smith; great grandchildren, Elaina Smith, Arabella Smith, Christian McWhorter, and Selah Jenkins; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 27th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Hutchins and Rev. Ralph McWhorter officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery. Active Pallbearers, Brian Jenkins, Arlie J. Smith, John M. Smith, Haskell Dodson, Billy Don Ivester, and Mitchell Hensley. The Family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 7 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
