MR. JOHN FRANK KELLETT, JR., age 71 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023. He was born August 20, 1951, son of the late John Frank Kellett, Sr. and Myra Geraldine Fletcher Kellett. Mr. Kellett was a U. S. Army Veteran of Viet Nam, Desert Storm, 911 and was retired from Hayes State Prison. Mr. Kellett attended Mount Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are His wife, Mi-Lyong Kellett; daughter, Lana June Kellett; sons, Jason Marcus (Susie) Kellett and Peter Frank (Jamie) Kellett; sisters, Jean (Thomas) Hawkins, and Nansi (Scott) Sparks; brothers, Andrew Thomas (Cindy) Kellett and William David (Linda) Kellett; granddaughters, Savannah Bailey Kellett and Alexa Kellett; grandsons, Jakub Blayne Lloyd and Jaxsun Marcus Kellett; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 1st, at 5:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Kellett officiating, private interment in the Kellett Farm Cemetery. Active Pallbearers, Jakub Blayne Lloyd, Jaxsun Marcus Kellett, William David Kellett, Chuck Cox, Kamdyn Kellett, Daylin Kellett; Honorary Pallbearers members of the U. S. Army and all present and former employees of Hays State Prison. The Family will receive friends Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
