MRS. LOIS GREEN, age 92, of Filter Plant Road-Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012, at her residence. A native Chattoogan, She was born to the late Robert Wesley and Mary Eva Brown Dover on January 12, 1920. Mrs. Green was a member of Berryton Baptist Church, retired from the rubberizing department of Georgia Rug Mill, and was preceded in death by her husband the late Leonard Green, sons-Jerry Green, Larry Green, and Ray Green; grandsons-Jay Crider, Duel Bandy, and Joey Green; sisters-Grace Skates, Lucille Lindsey and Beulah Cummings; brothers: Arville Dover, Albert Dover, Harve Dover, Tiny Dover and Morris Dover Surviving are daughters-Betty June Pope of Menlo, Nancy Crider of Summerville, Charlotte Woody of Berryton, and Sadie Croy of Lyerly; several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 30th, at 2:00 P.M. from the Berryton Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Skates and Rev. Malcolm Harris officiating, interment in Summerville Cemetery; active pallbearers will be Grandsons. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Monday from 6 until 8 P.M.; at other hours the family will be at the residence of a daughter-Charlotte Woody on Filter Plant Road-Summerville, Georgia.
