MRS. KATHY LYNN DODD, age 49, of Ramey Street-Summerville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012, morning at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Rome, Georgia on July 31, 1963, to the late Patsey Mozell LuAllen Collins and Thomas Lamar Collins who survives. She was a Homemaker. Mrs Dodd was preceded in death by her Mother, and brothers-Michael Anthony Collins and Thomas Ray Collins. Surviving are husband-Neal Ashmore; father-Thomas Collins; daughters-Kaitlyn Ashmore and Kelsie Ashmore all of Summerville; sons-Jesse (Christy) Dodd of Rome and Bryan (Breanna) Ashmore of Summerville; brother-Gary F. Collins; sister-Margie Collins both of Summerville; grandchildren-Jordan Dodd, Taylor Dodd, Devan Fowler, Shelby Rhodes, and Evan Ashmore; mother-in-law-Ann Bass of Summerville. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 1st, at 2 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wright officiating. The Family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until the funeral hour. Earle Rainwater Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
