LINDA EARL CALDWELL JONES age 77 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in a Rome Hospital. She was born in Summerville, Georgia, February 12, 1945, daughter to the late Charlie and Irene Caldwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Melvin Timmons, sisters, the late Pamala Jean Caldwell and Barbara Beatrice Caldwell; brothers, the late Charles Leroy Caldwell and George Dewayne Caldwell, and brothers-in-law, the late Johnny Tapp and Danny Kilgore. Linda was a Homemaker and a member of the Harrell Street Church of God.
Surviving are brothers, Ray (Denane) Caldwell and Jerry Caldwell, Rachael (Danny) Kilgore, Doris (Johnny) Tapp.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, at 1:30 P.M. from the J.D. Hill Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Caldwell and Rev. Leroy Nichols officiating, interment in the Mount Carmel Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Brison Pollock, Jeffery Caldwell, Bryson Phillips, Jacob Caldwell, Conner Elrod, and Charles Caldwell, Jr.(J.J.). Honorary Pallbearers will be Gracie Drake, Doyal Ash, Gracie Phillips, Eathan Caldwell, TaLaylah Price, Navin Morris, and Anthony Eskew. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
