MRS. LINDA DARLENE BROOME, age 73, of East Armuchee Road-LaFayette, Georgia passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, in a Dalton hospital. A native of Chattooga County, Georgia she was born May 23, 1949 to the late Arthur Teems, Jr. and Isadora Brown Teems. Mrs. Broome was a member of the East Armuchee Baptist Church, a para professional for Whitfield County School system and a former financial officer for Shaw Industries.
Surviving are Her husband, Jack Broome; daughters, Crystal Jackson, Celeste Richards, and Cauprice Clance; grandchildren, Haven Clance, Atticus Clance, and Landry Richards; brother, Steve Teems; several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 12th, at 2:00 p.m. from the East Armuchee Baptist Church with Rev. David Pruett and Rev. Larry Scoggins officiating, interment in the East Armuchee Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are Nephews, Marc Weeks, David Broome, Sean Broome, Bradley Broome, Don Jackson, and Adam Jackson. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Earle Rainwater Funeral Home. Mrs. Broome will also be in state Thursday, at the Church from 1 until 2 p.m.
