Mr. Johnny Mack Bumgarner

MR. JOHNNY MACK BUMGARNER, age 66, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, in a Chattanooga hospital. He was born in Summerville, Georgia on June 13, 1947 to the late Carl Franklin and Annie Lois Roberts Bumgarner. Mr. Bumgarner served in the U. S. Army and the U. S. Navy. He was retired from Mount Vernon Mills and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Bumgarner was preceded in death by brothers- Wilbur Bumgarner and Charles Sisk. Surviving are wife- Marilyn Bumgarner of Summerville; daughters and sons-in-law- Tara & John Epperson of Tunnel Hill, TN; Starr & Jeff Carter of Cleveland, TN; son and daughter-in-law- Jonathan & Brooke Bumgarner of LaFayette, GA; Six Grandchildren; Sisters- Judy Brewster of Summerville and Ruby Jo Whaley of Centre, AL; brother- Larry Bumgarner of Summerville. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held Wednesday (March 5th) at 2:00 P.M. from graveside in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Mike Odom officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Jonathan Bumgarner, John Epperson, Jeff Carter, Shane Hogue, Kevin Whaley and Kyle Carter. The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
