Mr. Fred Buddy Johnson
MR. FRED BUDDY JOHNSON, age 73, of Tunnell Hill/Armuchee, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, afternoon in a Dalton, Georgia hospital. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on March 18, 1941, He was a son of the late Fred William and Flora Plott Johnson. Mr. Johnson attended the Floyd Springs Baptist Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was retired truck driver for Bentlin, Inc. He was preceded in death by sister, the late Willadene Hamill and an infant daughter the late Melissa Johnson.
Surviving are His wife, Amy Smith Johnson; daughter-Vicki Johnson of Rome; three Grandchildren, six Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 30th, at 2:30 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Williams officiating, interment in Lyerly Cemetery. Active Pallbearers James Hamill, Joseph Hamill, Cody Hamill, Jason Pittard, Grant Wallace, Bob Dlsaesser, Scott Bass and Larry Goode. Honorary Pallbearers are the Adult 3 Sunday School Class of the Floyd Springs Baptist Church. The Family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until the service hour. Earle Rainwater Funeral Home in charge.
