MR. TOMMY MORRISON, age 68, of Lyerly, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Chattooga County, Georgia on September 15, 1943 to the late Paul and Jewell McCollum Morrison. Mr. Morrison was retired from heat and air conditioning and a Veteran of Viet Nam serving in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by a brother the late Mike Morrison.
Surviving are His wife-Jody Morrison; daughter-Robin Brown; son-Toby Morrison; granddaughter-Brecklyn Brown all of Lyerly; sister-Paula Cleveland and Carrie Morrison both of Lyerly, and Donna Ponder of Orange Grove, FL.; brothers-Ed Morrison and David Morrison both of Louisiana; several Nieces and Nephews.

MRS. ILEEN BOWLING, age 92, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011, morning in a Rome hospital. A native of Randolph County, AL, She was born to the late Milford Green and Viola Henderson Overton on March 10, 1919. Mrs. Bowling was a Charter member of Pentecostal Worship Center and was preceded in death by her husband the late Joseph Lemuel Bowling on September 26, 1996 and a grandson the late Luke Grogan.
Surviving are daughters-Shirley Grogan, Brenda Martineau, and Dorothy Hutchins, Rebecca Dyer, and Marlene Watwood all of Summerville; son Dwight Bowling of Lyerly; Ten Grandchildren, Twelve Great Grandchildren;; sister & brother-in-law, Mary & Randall Slater of Rising Fawn, GA.; sisters-in-law, Lillian and Louise Overton; special cousin, Ola Bowling; several Nieces and Nephew also survive.

Born in Chattooga County, Georgia on August 5, 1922, She was a daughter of the late Sam and Ella Broome White. Mrs. Shireman was a member of New Antioch Baptist Church, retired from the spinning department of Riegel Textile Corporation, and was preceded in death by her husbands the late Earnest Shireman and the late Bill Skinner, and a daughter-the late Jeannette Hill.

A life time resident of Chattooga County, Georgia, He was born to the late Henry and Emma Headrick Brown on January 28, 1924. Mr. Brown was a member of the Berryton Bible Mission and was retired from Barwick Mills and Riegel Textile Corporation slacher rooms. He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II and was preceded in death by his wife the late Nellie Bell Armstrong Brown and step son the late Ronnie Headrick.

MR. TIM McWILLIAMS, age 55, of Haywood Valley-Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday morning in a Rome hospital following an extended illness. Born in Trion, Georgia, He was a son of the late Robert L. (Bob) McWilliams and Rubie Scoggins McWilliams who survives. Prior to retirement He was owner/operator of the Subligna General Store. Mr. McWilliams was preceded in death by a brother the late Joey McWilliams.

MRS. MARGARET MEADOWS THRASHER, age 81, of Atlanta, Georgia formerly of Chattooga County, passed away Friday evening in Decatur, Georgia. A native of Berryton, Georgia, She was born to the late J. Olney Meadows, Sr. and the late Mary Powell Meadows, on November 27, 1930. Mrs. Thrasher was an Executive Secretary retired, a member of Decatur Presbyterian Church, and was preceded in death by her husband the late Clifford Thrasher in 1995.

HUBERT BUREN HARKINS, age 78, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011, in a Rome hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident in Summerville in October of this year. A native of Fairmont, Georgia, He was born to the late Benjamin Hubert and Edna Evelyn Crowe Harkins, on May 8, 1933. He was offset press printer for the Summerville News retired, after 40 plus years and a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving in Korea.
Surviving are His wife-Bertha Harkins; daughter-Sheila Christine Harkins; grandson-Wesley Levi Harkins both of Summerville; step daughter-Dona Clark of Rock Spring; step son-Travis Wade of LaFayette; sister-Carol Burnett of Social Circle, Georgia; brother-Larry Harkins.

MRS. VIRGINIA CALHOUN CAPPS “BIBO” FOSTER, 89, died Friday, November 4, 2011 in a Rome hospital. She was born in Dante, VA. To the late Glen & Pearl Calhoun on January 26, 1922, and lived most of her life in Erwin, Tennessee.
She was a member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church, and worked many years in retail sales.

Born in Jackson County Alabama on July 7, 1926, she was a daughter of the late James Aubrey, Sr. and Lina Ada Eva Gibson Wilson. Mrs. Evans was a homemaker and bookkeeper, a member of Pennville First Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, the late Billy Brice Evans on February 6, 2008, siblings: Ewart Quinton Wilson,Sr., James Aubrey Wilson, Jr., Lorenzo “Pete” Wilson and Claudine Fowler.

A native Chattooga Countian, She was born on May 16, 1936 to the late Stanley and Effie Coker Waits. Mrs. Ozment was retired from the Sample Department of Mohawk Industries and a member of Four Mile Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, the late Billy Joe Ozment on January 4, 2003, a son, the late Terry Ozment on January 21, 2005, and a sister the late Carol Baker.

Mr. Sam Bible, age 88, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away August 30, 2011 at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Summerville, only 3 weeks away from his 89th birthday. Mr. Bible was born in Estill Springs, Tennessee, in 1922 to George C. Bible and Eliza Martin Bible. His spent his early life in Winchester, Tennessee, where he attended school, was king of the Crimson Clover Festival, and owned a farm and feed store. He met his wife Willie Swafford Bible in Winchester, where she was a home extension agent.
Mr. Bible and his late brother, George W. Bible, owned and operated Mountain Cove Farms in Kensington, Georgia for many years. After selling the farm, Mr. Bible worked as an insurance agent for John Hancock Life, and was also a builder and an inventor. He was very active in the Summerville First United Methodist Church as long as his health permitted. He was also active in the local Chattooga County Democratic Party.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law Kathy Bible Mullen and Peter Mullen of Tallahassee, Florida and grandson Dr. Matthew Mullen of Birmingham, Alabama. Also surviving are sister-in-law Mary Hembree of Knoxville, Tennessee, cousins Martha Bible Wade of The Villages, Florida and Margaret Montgomery Mefford of Brentwood, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bible was pre-deceased by his parents, his brother, George W. Bible, and his wife, Willie S. Bible.

MRS. ESSIE BROWN GRIGSBY, age 89, of Sloppy Floyd Lake Road-Summerville, Georgia, Wayside Community, passed away Wednesday August 24, 2011)evening at her residence. A native of Chattooga County, She was born to the late John L. and Venice Dodd Brown on October 14, 1921. Mrs. Grigsby was a Charter member of Wayside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and led singing. She was a Summerville High School Graduate where she played basketball; was preceded in death by her husband the late Fay Grigsby in 1978, brothers-David and Pete Brown, sisters-Inez Bramlett and Frances Perrin, and a grandson-Jason Howell.

DR. JACK REEVES MEACHAM, age 78, prominent Summerville, Georgia physician passed away Wednesday (August 17, 2011) in a Rome hospital. Born in Roanoke, Alabama on March 29, 1933, He was a son of the late William Curtis and Mattie Lou Reeves Meacham. A long-standing member of Summerville First Baptist Church, He served as deacon and Sunday School teacher. Dr. Meacham enjoyed music, singing, reading, teaching, Bible study, sang in quartet, and in Acapella Choir in college. He graduated from Summerville High School in 1950, earning his BS degree in Biology from Carson-Newman College and taught at Trion High School in 1956., then entered the Medical College of Georgia in 1958 and earned his M.D. in 1962, interning at Floyd County Hospital. From 1963 til 1968 was in General Practice in Chatsworth, Georgia, and 1968 until 2001 Family Practice in Summerville. Dr. Meacham was PFC in the U.S. Army during Korea serving as medical corpsman and x-ray technician. In 1954 married Lillie Jane Stephenson who preceded Him in death in 2000. The Family publicly thanks North Georgia Home Health, Arbutus Personal Care Home, ICU & CCU nurses in Redmond M.C., Specialty Hospital Personnel, and all the wonderful physicians and medical staff at Redmond Regional Medical Center, Floyd Medical Center, and the Specialty Hospital.

MRS. Betty Ann Tucker, age 71, of Denson Road-Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 25, 2011, at her residence. A native of Chattooga County, Georgia She was born to the late Russell and Myrtis Adams Lowry on January 22, 1940. Mrs. Tucker was a member of North Summerville Baptist Church and was retired from the Lab at Mt. Vernon Mills and was also a cashier for Pay-N-Tote convenience store. She was preceded in death by her husband the late Harold Fred Tucker, Sr. on December 4, 2003, and siblings Mary Jo Treadaway, Jackie Mills, Harman Lowry, and Floyd Lowry.

MRS. JOYCE ELAINE JACKSON, age 79, of Harrisburg Road - Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, July 1st, 2011, at her home. She was born in Denver, Colorado on April 3rd, 1932, a daughter of the late Emile T. and Thelma Madison Gourdin. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and a local artist and craft person.

A. and Frances Cathleen Townsell Tudor. Mr. Tudor served in the United States Army earning the rank of SP4 as an MP, serving in Vietnam 1967 and 1968. He was a member of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo) in Huntsville, AL. Before retirement Mr. Tudor was plant manager at Riyadi, Saudi Arabia for 7 years, and most recently worked with Mt. Vernon Mills in the dyeing department.

MRS. VIVIAN DUVALL WARREN, age 88, of Trion, GA passed away Friday morning, (June 10, 2011), in a Rome hospital. Mrs. Warren was born in Floyd County, GA on September 5, 1922, a daughter of the late Arthur S. and Emma Hardeman Duvall and was preceded in death by brothers Harlan G. Duvall and Eugene Duvall, and sisters Bonnie Woods and Elene King. Mrs. Warren was a member of Trion First Baptist Church and was retired from Barwick Mills.
Surviving are two sisters- Lucille Duvall Clark of Rome, and Betty Duvall (James W.) Herndon of Marietta. Three brothers Alvin R. (Helen) Duvall of Cave Spring; Archie J. (Carol) Duvall, Sr. of Rome; Roy Duvall of Rome; Sister-in-law Jo Ann Duvall of Rome.

MRS. WINIFRED MILLER DOSTER, age 100, of Summerville, Georgia died Friday, June 3, 2011, at Oak View Nursing Center in Summerville. Winifred was born April 7, 1911, in Ellijah, Georgia, to Margaret Elizabeth Holt (1872-1960) and Wesley Jones Miller (1865-1946). She was a 1936 graduate from the University of Georgia in Home Economics. She worked several years as a Home Economics teacher, then for the Farmers Home Administration until she married George Edward Doster (1900-1985) in 1946. She returned to work for the Department of Family and Children’s Services until retirement in 1965 at age 65.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Alice Parker, Summerville; two sons, George Doster, Jr., Kentucky, and Jim Doster, Carrollton, Georgia; five grandchildren-David Doster, Angie Doster, Jacob Doster, Desmond Parker, and Andrew Parker two great grandchildren-Tyler Doster and Drake Doster.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, June 5th, from Horizon Baptist Fellowship with the Reverend Jimmy Bryant and Doctor Jerry Mahan officiating, interment in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. MRS. JIMMIE DUKE JONES, age 72, of Lyerly, GA passed away Wednesday evening,(June 1, 2011), at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Jones was born July 9, 1938 in Trion, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Clifford and Mary John Ellenburg Fowler. She was retired from Georgia Rug Mill Data Precessing and was a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church. Her husband, Max Roland Jones, preceded her in death January 8, 2005.
Survivors include a Daughter and Son-in-law, Lynn and Mike Stull; Son and Daughter-in-law, Tony and Denise Jones; Grandchildren, Morgan Stull, Summer Jones and Rose Jones all of Lyerly.

MR. ORVILLE ROBERT “DOC” WHITE, age 74, of White Oak Road-Summerville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at his residence. Born in Chattooga County,Ga., Berryton Community on January 13, 1937, he was a son of the late Robert Lee and Dovie Mae Tuggle White. Mr. White was a Self Employed Contractor and attended Summerville Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Cochran White, of Summerville. Two daughters: Robbie Baker Dooley of Summerville and Becky White Humphrey of Hixon, TN. One son, Orville Robert White, Jr. of Rome. A brother, Daniel L. White of Fort Oglethorpe, GA and Special Buddy “Shorty”. Six Grandchildren, Nine Great-Grandchildren, one Great Great Granddaughter, several nieces and nephews also survive.

MR. ROY LEE HUNTER, age 62, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday morning in Chickmauga, following an extended illness. A native Chattooga Countian He was born to the late Ed Hunter and Florence Hartline on January 21, 1949. Mr. Hunter was retired from the City of Summerville Water Department after 32 years of service. Preceding Him in death are a sister-the late Martha Hunter, brother-the late Robert Hunter, and step mother-the late Bonnie Hunter.

MRS. ODESSA "Bea" WILSON, age 90, of Summerville, GA, Teloga Community, passed away Tuesday, morning, May 10, 2011. A native of Dekalb County, AL, she was born on April 21, 1921, a daughter of the late Mark A. and Eliza Boozer Lacy. Mrs. Wilson was a Home Maker, member of the Eastern Star, and a Member of Summerville First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. “Bill” Wilson, on June 17, 2009.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law W. A. and Claudia Ann Wilson of Ackworth, GA; and Thomas Harold and Jean McCain Wilson of Roswell, GA. MRS. EVA CAROL McFALLS COLLINS, age 74, of Collins-Youngblood Road-Armuchee, Georgia, Little Sand Mt. Community, passed away Wednesday at Her residence. She was born in Cohutta, Georgia on March 21, 1937, a daughter of the late San and Margaret Hunsucker McFalls. Mrs. Collins was Valedictorian of NW Whitfield High School Class of 1955, received her B.S. degree in Home Economics from Berry College in 1959 and received double Masters Degrees in 1980. She was Gilmer Co. Extension Agent, Georgia Power home economist, Aging Specialist with the Coosa Valley Planning Commission, and afterward She taught school in Hall Co., Gordon Co., and Lyerly Elementary in Chattooga Co. She was married September 15, 1963 to Ben F. Collins, who preceded her in death on August 31, 1996; Mrs. Collins was also preceded in death by a brother the late San Maurice McFalls, Sr..

MR. HUGH G. MURDOCK, age 80, of Armuchee, Georgia, Little Sand Mt. Community, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2011, in a Rome hospital following a sudden attack. Born in Chattooga County Georgia on March 23, 1931 He was a son of the late Gordon William and Rose Lee Rosser Murdock. Mr. Murdock was retired from Berry College Maintenance Department and was a Deacon of South Summerville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, the late Rev. Billy Murdock.

MRS. MARY ANN BARTNICK, age 73, of Farmersville Road-Summerville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011, in a Rome hospital. A native of Clarkston, Georgia She was born to the late Thomas Weston and Kate Spivey Batchelor on October 15, 1937. Mrs. Bartnick was retired from Metropolitan Insurance Company and attended Bethel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are Her husband-Jon G. Bartnick, Sr.; sons and daughter-in-law-Jon G. Bartnick, Jr. and Alison along with granddaughter-Holly Ann of Roswell, Georgia and Kenneth E. Bartnick of San Antonio, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

MISS IDA LORETTA MITCHELL, age 95, of Bill Mitchell Road-Summerville, Georgia, Gore Community, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011. Born in Polk County, Georgia on November 24, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Lumpkin Wade and Sarah Herring Mitchell. Miss Mitchell was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and until retirement in 1980 served as Principal at City Park Elementary in the Dalton, Georgia School system.
She is survived by her sister Mildred Padgett of Calhoun and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Pauline Mitchell, Helen Mitchell , Lamar (Bud) Mitchell , Howard Mitchell , Bill Mitchell, Ann Morgan, and Miriam Harper.
Miss Ida attended Young Harris College, received her BA from Georgia Southern and her Masters in Education from Emory University. She taught in LaFayette and in Dalton where she was principal of City Park Elementary. At City Park she also taught art and many of her students win prizes in state-wide competitions. She also was a avid supporter of reading and she began a very innovative children’s literature author in residence program at her school. Several well-known authors came to Dalton and spent a week inspiring students to be life-long lovers of books.
Her many nieces and nephews also learned from her. She often gave them books as gifts and she discussed favorite books with them. Many of those books have now been passed to a second and even third generation in the Mitchell family. Also, she taught them the importance and joys of family by hosting a Thanksgiving family reunion at her home for almost thirty years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made either to Bethel United Methodist Church in Gore where Ida was a life time member, or to the Methodist Children’s Home, Columbia Drive, Decatur, Georgia.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 30th, at Bethel United Methodist Church with the service to follow at 2:00, interment in Summerville Cemetery.

MRS. CORNELIA “NEAL” SMITH, age 83, of Summerville, formerly of Aragon, Georgia went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, April 17, 2011. She was born on January 1, 1928 in Rome, Georgia, the wife of the late Pastor Roy H. Smith.
Mrs. Smith was a dedicated Christian, devoted Pastor’s wife, singer, musician, soul winner and Bible teacher. She was married to Bro. Roy H. Smith for 61 years. She and Bro. Roy ministered for over 60 years at many different churches, nursing homes, jails, and through the Upward Look Radio Ministry. She was a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly.
Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy H. Smith; three brothers, Edward Bradfield, Leonard Bradfield and Wicker Bradfield; a sister, Beatrice Marks; and a grandson, Chris Blansit.
She is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Grimes and husband, Allen, of Aragon; four sons, Samuel Smith and wife Joyce, of Piedmont, AL., David Smith & wife Loretta, of Rome, Pastor Joel Smith & wife Karen, of Cedartown, and Timothy Smith & wife Martha Ann, of Trion; a sister, Joyce Freeman, of Rome; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

MRS. ARTICHIA WARREN KELLETT, age 92, of Kellett Street-Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, April 8, 2011, in a Rome hospital. A native Chattooga Countian, She was born in Berryton, Georgia on May 26, 1918, a daughter of the late Hines and Lizzie Kinsey Warren. Mrs. Kellett attended the Horizon Baptist Fellowship, was retired from Harriett-Henderson Mills and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Kellett, Sr., daughter, Susan Marie Kellett, a son, Ralph Kellett, Jr., and brothers, Jack and Archie Warren.

Ms. Thompson graduated from Menlo Schools, West Georgia College, and the University of Georgia, was retired Educator teaching for 35 years primarily in Chattooga County at Menlo and North Summerville Elementary Schools.

MR. WILLIAM R. “BILL” SHAMBLIN, age 80, of Highway #337-Summerville, Georgia, Teloga Community, passed away Monday afternoon at his residence following an extended illness, he was born on April 23, 1930, a son of the late Luther A. and Georgia Carver Shamblin. He was preceded in death by brothers Mack A., James L., Guy A., Robert L., and Charles C. Shamblin and sister Annie M. Shamblin. Mr. Shamblin was a member of Beersheba Presbyterian Church, where he served as Trustee, and an ordained Elder. He was presented the honor of Elder Emeritus. He organized a Boy Scout Troop in the Teloga Community and served as Scout Master for a number of years. He retired from Mount Vernon Mills, Trion, GA in 1995.

A daughter of the late Sam and Lois Golden Westbrook, Ms. Hensley was born September 10, 1938, was Baptist by faith and retired from Mohawk Industries and Walmart. Ms. Hensley was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas Westbrook and Freddie Westbrook.

Ms. Bachelor was born in Floyd County, Georgia on November 5, 1957 a daughter of the late Archie Lee and Anna Lee Howell Pollard. She formerly worked in the assembly line at Roper Corporation.

MR. WILLIAM D. ELROD, age 55, of Fayetteville, Georgia formerly of Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday afternoon in a Rome hospital following a sudden illness. A native of Chattooga County, Georgia He was born on July 29, 1955, and was the only child of the late Ralph W. and Ada Margaret Duff Elrod. Mr. Elrod was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Georgia and a real estate agent for the ERA Sunrise Group.

MR. HENRY L. “Buddy” WOOTEN, age 71, of Willow Street-Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday evening, February 28, 2011, in a Rome hospital. Born in Rainesville, Alabama on March 6, 1939, He was a son of William Rother and Lillie Belle Willoughby Wooten of Summerville. Mr. Wooten attended the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Best Mfg. Company, Finishing Department. He was preceded in death by his wife the late Martha Elaine Reynolds Wooten, a sister the late Carol Helton, and brothers- the late Truman Wooten and the late Billy Fayne Wooten.

MR. JIMMY C. “BIG JIM” STRICKLIN, SR., age 69, of Wild Life Lake Road-Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday morning, February 24, 2011, in a Rome hospital. Mr. Stricklin was born January 3, 1942 in Savannah, Tennessee, a son of the late Sam C. and Frances Wisdom Stricklin. He was owner and operator of Jim’s Used Cars and was Baptist by faith. Besides his parents, Mr. Stricklin was preceded in death by three brothers- William Dewey Stricklin, Sammy J. Stricklin, Sr. and Grant J. Stricklin.
Surviving are his wife Janice Stricklin, two daughters- Jami Stricklin and Josette Stricklin Radford both of Summerville; Three sons and daughter-in-law- Jimmy C. MR. EVAN DEFORREST BOWMAN, age 82, of Whitley Drive-Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011, evening at his residence. He was born on October 7, 1928 in Chattooga County, Georgia, a son of the late Robert Loren Bowman, Sr. and Mildred Foye Powell Bowman,. Mr. Bowman enjoyed Golf, played in the Textile League Softball, and for several years coached Little League Baseball. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a Veteran of WW II serving in the U. S. Marines, and was retired District Accounting Supervisor for Georgia Power Company. Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his brother the late Robert L. Bowman, Jr. on October 9, 2010.

A native of Fort Payne, Alabama He was born to the late Homer Harley, Sr. and Edna Rosa Beaty Hardeman on November 27, 1922. Mr. Hardeman was a member of Summerville First Baptist Church, Veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Navy, and was retired Sales Representative for Chemical Processing of Georgia. He was preceded in death by a son-the late Rodney Hardeman, sister-the late Flora Mae Whisenant, and brothers-the late J. B. Hardeman, the late Ed Hardeman, and the late Winfred Hardeman.

MR. JOHN THORNTON STUBBS, JR., age 92, of Highway #337-Summerville, Georgia –Teloga Community, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011, morning at his residence. Born in Americus, Georgia on September 1, 1918 He was the son of the late John Thornton Stubbs, Sr. and Ann McWhorter Stubbs. Mr. Stubbs was an elder and member of Beersheba Presbyterian Church, graduated from Presbyterian College, was a Veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army, and worked for the U.S. Postal Service serving as Summerville Post Master for thirty four years. He was preceded in death by his wife the late Jean Thomas Stubbs.

Surviving are His wife-Tori Hebard Maxey; Mother-Shirley Maxey of Rome; daughter-Bethany Mooneyhan of Cecilia, KY; son-James Maxey of Sanford, Florida; grandson-Kevin Maxey; sister-Dawn Montgomery; brother Alan Maxey both of Rome; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5th, at 2:00 P.M. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Paige Hardin, Rev. Jimmy Bryant, and Rev.
